This is to confirm that the bar and catering facilities will open on Friday 6th April so do come along, see progress to date and sample Mick’s wine and ales and Vicky’s fare. It is looking more and more likely that both sets of the downstairs lavatories and showers will also be ready by the 6th, meaning that the temporary lavatories upstairs can be removed from the West Room.
While the telephone extensions for the bar and kitchen should be working, the link is proving a little tenuous so if members are having difficulty in getting through it is suggested that they ring the office phone (760256) and make arrangements that way.
One final parish notice. Mrs Jean Langley, who has been our Events Manager for the past two years will be leaving shortly. She has done a grand job but travels in daily from Seaview and has found employment in the East Wight. Her successor is Mrs Lesley Taylor. The handover is on-going with Lesley Taylor assuming the appointment on 10th April.
