Thanks to the ongoing support of our sponsors Taittinger Champagne and our association with River Yar Boatyard & Wight Marine, we are looking forward to welcoming boats back for two days of competetive racing around the Western Solent.
We are also delighted to confirm the Edelweiss & Gurgl Hotel will continue to offer the fabulous prize of one week's stay in the Austrian Alps (all class winners are entered into this prize draw but must be present at the draw to win it!).
On the Water
In this, our fourteenth year, we are pleased to introduce a number of new additions to our Race Management Team, who we are sure will help strengthen and enhance this year’s event. The Regatta Team is particularly excited to welcome renowned National Race Officer Simon van der Byl, who has run Cowes Week for eleven years and presided over numerous international, national and regional championships. Simon will run Black Group’s start boat and we are sure will provide Black Group competitors with some first class racing in the Western Solent.
New to this event? These are the classes which took part in the 2021 regatta:
Black Group: J105/J109/J111, four IRC classes (ratings 0.780-1.490), IRC Swans & Classics
White Group: Two NHC classes, Contessa 32, J70/J80, Sonatas, Folkboats, XOD & YOD

Ashore
We are thrilled that the legendary Taittinger Champagne Reception will be returning on Friday evening and the fabulous Towers Party is back on Saturday night providing fantastic live music, dancing and fireworks.
