RSYC v SEAVIEW YACHT CLUB
Saturday 11th October
The above annual event is taking place at Freshwater Bay Golf Club on Saturday 11th October and will be followed by lunch in our clubhouse. As in previous years, it is proposed to play a morning Greensomes, 12 players from each club (6 Teams each) both Gentlemen and Ladies.
The format is that we meet at Freshwater Bay Golf Club at 0900hrs, where a bacon bap will be served with Coffee, the tee is reserved for a prompt start at 0930 hrs. On completion, there will no doubt be a friendly beer taken in the clubhouse, before we all depart for the RSYC clubhouse, where lunch will be served at approx 1430hrs.
The lunch menu is as follows :
Braised Lamb Neck Fillets with Crushed Potatoes,
Courgette and Mint Salsa and a Rich Red Wine Jus.

Warm Pecan Pie and Vanilla Cream
The cost is £34.50 for the day (Inclusive of Golf and Lunch ) but does not include wine, which of course can be purchased at the bar, at advantageous prices using your club card.
Prizes, no doubt of a liquid kind will be awarded to the winning team and on that note the RSYC lost in 2013, so it would be nice to wrest that accolade from Seaview!!
12 players needed, if you would like to play please enter your name and handicap on the list on the notice board in the club foyer. If you are unable to visit the club, but would like to play, please contact the office. Do not worry if your handicap is somewhat high, all are welcome.
I look forward to seeing the Club’s golfing fraternity on the 11th. It is, I can assure you a fun day.
