DESCRIPTION:‘My Gardening Year’\, which gives an intriguing insight into the year-round work of a prize-winning grower\, including\, among many awards\, Gold at the Chelsea Flower Show. \nDarren has been growing and showing dahlias for nearly forty years and Sweet Peas for almost thirty years. \nDarren moved from West Kent to the Isle of Wight about seven years ago. In 2022 he did his first RHS show at Hampton Court Flower Festival with Dahlias and in 2023 did his first Chelsea Flower Show with Sweet Peas. In 2024 he was awarded the NDS Silver Medal for services to the Dahlia and won four consecutive Gold Medal awards at RHS Chelsea\, BBC Gardeners World Live\, Blenheim Palace and RHS Hampton Court.
