Cruiser Challenge Sailing Instructions
This is designed to be a FUN event that is easy for cruising sailors and novice racers,
but also presents a challenge to experienced racers.
It provides the opportunity for our Cruising Group and Class 1&2 racers to sail together.
It is a pursuit event where the less experienced sailors will start first and
then the racers will follow with a staggered start based on handicap.
The most experienced will start last and their
challenge is to lap the leaders if they can!
New for 2024, spinnakers may be flown.
The course will be a simple triangle with a number of laps.
The course will be set in front of the RSYC to encourage spectators.
