Friday 12th - Sunday 14th July 2024
Sponsored by Champagne Taittinger
in association with River Yar Boatyard, Wight Marine and Edelweiss & Gurgl

This year’s charity regatta prize draw by Champagne Taittinger has been elevated to new heights - quite literally!

In addition to the fabulous prize of a trio of Champagne Taittinger magnums, the lucky winner of this draw will also win a flight in the Taittinger hot air balloon with a Champagne picnic!
(Subject to the Terms & Conditions detailed below).

To take part, simply purchase one of the coveted Champagne Taittinger RSYC Regatta caps over the regatta weekend for a minimum donation of £15.

Once again this year, the nominated charity will be the Wetwheels Foundation* for which almost £1,500 was raised last year to enable them to help disabled and disadvantaged people of all ages to access the water.

Don't forget, you’ll need to attend the prize giving on Sunday afternoon to claim your prize in person or the prize draw will be re-drawn!

*It was originally planned to donate all the funds raised this year from the sale of the Taittinger RSYC Regatta caps to Sail Beyond, an epic circumnavigation of Great Britain this summer by two inspirational sailors,Talan Skeels-Piggins and Neil Baxter, to raise funds for the Disabled Sailors Association, Hilary’s Dream Trust and BLESMA.

Sadly, at the end of June on the second day of the voyage, Neil fell onboard and badly broke his hip, so it has now been postponed until next summer and we'll therefore be supporting them and fundraising for their three designated charities during next year's regatta.
