Our dinghy week is open to all ages and is fun racing across a number of classes.   A Derek Sandy singalong in the middle and the notorious Fandango Race (fancy dress sailing – see below).   

Due to the tides, timings for race starts will be in the region of:

Monday 1600
Tuesday 1600
Wednesday 1000 (Fandango Charity Race – 1800 – see below)
Thursday 1000

Trophies and Prizes (kindly provided by Harwoods) will be presented as soon as possible after the last race on Thursday. 

£40 for all days or £20 per day.  Entry fee includes complimentary sandwiches and chips for under 18s, courtesy of the RSYC Millennium Fund which exists to promote junior sailing.

For participants under the age of 18, please ask parents to complete the following Parental Consent Form.

The Fandango – A race unlike others, open to all, fancy dress, a unique flag, sail, motor, paddle boards, kayaks, pedalo.  Bribery of race officials encouraged, unique rules.   ALL FOR CHARITY.  

Sailing Instructions

£10 entry fee, sign up on the day.  A BIGGER entry fee may be rewarded with more points.  All proceeds going to charity.
