In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into effect in 2018, the Royal Solent Yacht Club (RSYC) is required to obtain the following consent from all members:
- I consent to my details (name, main address, phone numbers, email address, name & type of any boats owned) being included in the Royal Solent Yacht Club’s (RSYC) Members’ Directory that will be shared with other RSYC members.
- I agree not to share the contents of the RSYC’s Members’ Directory with non-members and not to use it for advertising, political reasons, promotional purposes or financial gain.
- I undertake to securely store and, when out of date, securely dispose of my copy of the printed Members’ Directory.
- I undertake to maintain secure access to the online Members’ Directory via my online member account.
- I consent for my image to be used by the RSYC in photographs of the Club’s activities for the sole purpose of promoting the Club.
- I acknowledge that I can withdraw consent by submitting my withdrawal request in writing to the Club.
- I have the authority of my partner, family members and/or dependents, whose names are listed in the field below, to complete this consent form on their behalf.
