Regatta Prize Draws

This year there will be no less than 3 exciting prize draws taking place on Sunday afternoon at the Prize Giving – but please note, in order to win you have to be physically present at the draw to collect your prize in person!

Edelweiss & Gurgl Hotel Prize Draw

Last year's Eidelweiss & Gurgl winners were RYA NHC DIV A Class winners, Caveman

For the 4th year running, each of the winning boats in each class will be automatically entered into a prize draw for a luxury 7 night half board stay for 2 persons sharing the 1889 Panorama Suite at the stunning Edelweiss & Gurgl Hotel in the Ötztal Alps in Austria.

The winning boat name will be drawn at the end of the prize giving on Sunday afternoon - but don't forget, if your boat wins its class you'll need to be present at the draw in order to win this prize!

Champagne Taittinger Prize Draw

Last year's Champagne Taittinger prize draw winner, David Temple

A new prize draw was introduced by Taittinger last year for a trio of Taittinger Champagne magnums. Entry into the draw was attained through the purchase of a Taittinger RSYC Regatta cap for a minimum donation of £15, which raised almost £1,500 for the Wetwheels Foundation

This year, the prize also includes a spectacular flight in the Taittinger hot air balloon with a Champagne picnic! All the funds raised through the sale of the caps will be donated to to Sail Beyond, an epic circumnavigation of Great Britain this Summer by two inspirational sailors,Talan Skeels-Piggins and Neil Baxter, who are raising funds for the Disabled Sailors Association, Hilary’s Dream Trust and BLESMA.

Wight Marine Prize Draw

Last year's Wight Marine prize draw winner, Kate Sims in NHC B

In 2022 and 2023, supporting sponsor Wight Marine donated a Honda 2.3hp outboard engine to be won in their popular prize draw.

This year's prize will be along similar lines and the winner will be drawn at the beginning of the prize giving on Sunday after racing. The names of every boat taking part in the regatta will be automatically entered and the first boat name drawn, whose helm or crew are present at the draw, will win the prize.
